My research examines how early adversity shapes bodily and emotional experience. In my current work, I study interoception, sleep perception, and their links to depression, anxiety, and somatic symptoms using experimental, psychophysiological, and intensive longitudinal methods. More broadly, I am interested in how social and material conditions become embedded in everyday experience, and where those pathways might be interrupted.
